Does it seem a bit strange that a reasonable parent should take his four-year old and two-year old biking in the middle of the city? Huh?
Also strange that Saun Plunkett would keep calling it the Anti-smacking Law instead of the Child Protection Law.
The proven fact remains that an adult punched his son in the face and is held to account. good. YES to the referendum! -
Pigs are intelligent and have a sense of humour. I was drafting lambs off from ewes and sending the lambs off into one paddock and the ewes back into the paddock they came from. After a while I looked up to find quite a few of the lambs back with their mothers. So I followed the next lamb out of the race around the corner af the fence/hedge. There was the single free range farm pig ushering the lambs through a hole in the hedge and back to Mum. The pig was grinning I swear.

I wonder what would have happened during the Election, if the Media had been so clever at their analysis and persistence when dealing with some of the more outrageous claims of some politicians???

Dear Dr David,
I have recently been recognised for my immense intellect and ability to speak openly, frankly and with great humanity. I have been called to take up an important role to shape the destiny and welfare of all the children in NZ. Something seems to be very wrong with a "gruntled" section of weirdos who do not seem able to grasp my value. They are being very mean to me. What should I do about it.
Yours in humility,

When 30 second ads are made they take great care to modulate and technically bring the sound levels right up to the permissible level. Programs such as dramas, comedies etc cannot spend the time or money to fiddle levels so keep a safe average level below permissible levels. Therefore ads are at the right loudness. Other items are less loud.

Mark. Come on down to Blenheim. Very sunny. No motorway. No traffic lights. And we have a McDonalds and a Briscoes!!

Shay: Yes. It makes me wonder too given that before the election John Key was going to abolish the Families Commission. Perhaps this is a way to undermine it.
And I wonder about some of the issues that have caused public outcry. Are they smokescreens as Brian suggests?
And isn't it curious that National Radio this morning was no longer calling it the "Anti-smacking Bill?" -
