Given his lack of interest or ability to respect any traditional norms, I wonder what initiatives Trump and McConnell might try to push through an integrity-deficient lame duck Congress majority - and whether those same integrity-deficient Republican congressmen will go along with it.

The there-to-give-balance commentariat are denying that there was any blue wave and talking up the GOP winning all the marginal Senate races; ignoring the fact that, with a 9% plus margin to the Democrats, if the US had anything approximating a fair electoral system this would have been a total rout.
So they held their own in a rigged competition, big deal. -
The ugly American dominates the world, and the ugly Republican dominates America. Ugh.

Has anyone else observed a marked rightward tilt in the Newshub political coverage since Paddy Gower and Lloyd Burr have been replaced by Tova O'Brien and Jenna Lynch? Or is it just me?
I stayed away from TVOne because their favouritism was so blatant but it's a bit galling to find that the competition have caught up. -

The annoying thing is many of the people described as "hard working" are not really working as hard as those who don't have trust funds, or big inheritances, or mortgage free properties, or 1.5 children at posh school; and some of them are not working at all, just living on rich people's versions of the benefit.

This may be a dumb question, but what's the incentive for suppliers to insert fentanyl into their "products"? Given how lethal it is the risk of killing their market is so high that I'm wondering where the benefit is.
