So Being Human is about
three apparent twenty-something characters sharing a house in Bristol, trying to live a normal social life, despite being a ghost, a werewolf and a vampire respectively
Yep normal humans doing normal things.
Now if you want normal try living in a house with a pothead, a P freak and a junkie.
Ghost's, werewolf's, vampire's......pffffft.Twenty something's are they the new thirty something's?

There's plenty of sedate games. Puzzles and such. Strategy games, turn based, human or computer opponents
You haven't played Myst then.
The new Sherlock Holmes film was great I thought.
I wonder if Where the Wild Thing Are could have been any better in 3D. -
Popular NZ singer Boh Runga drenches the heartbreaking "Not Given Lightly" in superfluous layers of 1950s camp, but the song's spirit fights its way through anyway

Talk about bad architecture, what's the story behind those dreadful supposedly temporary prefab classroom's that get trucked in when class numbers start to swell, and never leave.
Freezing in winter, boiling in summer, with windows that dont allow airflow. If I was a parent I'd be suing the Dept of Education for cruel and unusual punishment of minors. And I have heard anecdotally that the Dept of Education can side-step building regulations or can ignore them with impunity.
I've have a look but govt web sites don't usually have that kind of incriminating info on them.
Anyone?but the shopping mall story started out as a joke by one of the staff.
Cause they were pissed off at having to leave Avalon and commute to AK?

My usual part, the Other.
Just wait till the bio-ports are operational.
I used to like a very sedate form of game, don't know if there is an equivalent nowadays. I think it was called "Myst" or something.
Im not a shoot 'em up person, but I liked those arcade games skiing, bike riding.
Must get out more. -
From the Jackson/Cameron IV;
but I think the heart of the cinematic experience is the group experience. It's the psychology of sitting in a dark room with a bunch of people and reacting to something, and feeling like your reaction is the same as the rest of the group, a way of proof-checking your emotions are normal.
Jackson: Or not.
Cameron: If you're the one guy laughing out of 400 people, you're obviously out of step.So there folks groupthink please. I'll just wait till I can get my USB port surgery for downloads from my local doctor.
Ben your posts make hilarious reading. -
Its wasn't the Daily Show IV I'll keep looking. My bad.

Where's that quote from, Andin? (Or is that you paraphrasing?)
I saw both Cameron and Weaver talk about the ecological backstory/message in the film in i/v's on tv and say it was subtle(not quoting directly). I guess in relation to the cardboard cutout characters and the emphasis on the technology to them it was.
I'll go back and look Sigourney Weaver's i'v on The Daily Show that's the first place I remember seeing it.
Then I saw Cameron in an i/v voice a similar sentiment on a News clip I cant tell you the channel.
