    and was shocked by what seemed the cheerful insensitivity of ‘the French’ to portraying so brazenly their State’s homicidal terrorist attack on New Zealand.

    I didn't read it as such, I felt he deemed it necessary to portray what had happened and by not sweeping it under the carpet (ocean) it showed the acknowledgement that the French Govt were responsible. Also remember, Not all French are the Govt, just as I'd hate to be associated with this current lot, but wouldn't want to deny past actions of our country and " not want to make a fuss" as Nora suggests may have been the collective approach.I thought it healthy although perhaps cryptic. Jmo though.

    Anyone else at the Groupe F show in the /ak domain last night?

    Saw an interview with the producer last night and he said it would be interesting to see what the reaction was. Also that the segment will be only for that show and then gone forever. much like the Warrior itself I guess. I think it rather fitting. Wish I was there. Had I known about it, I would have made the effort. Does it cost anything?

    Thanks Sacha, although not sure if others would agree. I see a beauty in the simplicity of the insects life and manner. I actually couldn’t even kill the wasp that stung me, I sent the help to do that . He seemed to enjoy it. I am getting to know the gecko’s habitat quite well and have learnt that the Pukeko is not a favourite with the locals up North.
    With my fear and loathing of the field mouse etc, I am very pleased my neighbour popped in and got the possum for his dogs tucker. I have now issued instruction to visit whenever he wants to shop for his dog. Thought I saw a rat t’other day, turns out it was a stoat. Apparently a stoat’s stotally different but they all give me the heeby jeeby.Here are a couple of our baby trees.
