Christmas hasn't really come to PAS so I'll post this in Capture because this is beautiful and sad, like some of the photos.
"This recording of the carol ‘Silent Night’, is sung in English and Māori by a group of Māori Battalion patients from No. 2 New Zealand General Hospital in North Africa, 1942.
The Māori is sung by Nurse Wiki Katene of Porirua (Ngāti Toa)."

I know of which you speak. I have been known to grab the handle of the large stainless pan to get it out of the oven. My worst culinary dipsy was chopping up a pumpkin with the large cleaver and tugging when it stuck in the pumpkin. Cleaver up, whacks me in the middle of forehead (blunt side). Result: concussion; large livid lump on my third eye; pumpkin impaled on manuka spike at the front door by a relieved partner (who had thought I had a cleaver in my head and doesn’t like blood)..

Chicken shit in the kitchen here; Bossy and Rocket are looonely now their two companions have carked it, so they come inside whenever they can. I count mysellf fortunate they do not want to sit on the couch and watch TV with their people like my friend’s chook does.
