I quickly perused the Herald and Stuff early this am....in case some earth shattering event had been missed by Natrad news.
Saw the piece under discussion here and dismissed it as what has now become the usual Herald tripe. And the Collins crap....and as for Michele Hewiston's 'interview' with Millie Holmes....FFS!!!
There MUST (sorry to shout) be some issue of greater importance than this?

I have the album…
more fine work by Murray Grindlay, Alan Gallbraith and others…Ah!
A blast from the past. Just catching up...was back on the road again, heading like greased lightning from those bone chilling city slickers.
Went to Coromandel.
Now back in "civilisation", and have the time to drop a line.
See its the same shit, different day.
(I too have the album....well...a half share under the MPA, on vinyl)
AWESOME.

Yes, this is a very good distraction from the Countering Terrorists Bill and its associated setting aside of basic rights.
Some of the wording is of real concern....and it makes me wonder just how well equipped our cloak and dagger brigade are to excercise their new powers...should they need to.
Perhaps Our Leader has got outside assistance lined up aready?
This whole thing is getting a Sleeping Dogs feel about it.
(I would post a tune....but sadly the soundtrack is unavailable.)

A Freudian slip perhaps?
I did mean "for fucks sake"..but was trying to be polite.

What concerns me is that they seem to truly believe that their communique are confidential. That they can merrily text and email away and no one will ever know.
The rest of us accept that our electronic correspondence can be read by others....
Some of these people are running the country FSF.

Excuse my ignorance, but, was there some reason why the report in question was under embargo until a certain day at a certain time?
And yes, Goff happily spread the word far and wide it woud appear, while the triumvirate of Colins, Key and Slater at least had the 'intelligence' to keep their leaking between themselves.
A sort of coven of the incontinent....

The thing that shocks me the most is the way Key outsourced his relationship with the SIS – of which he was the responsible minister
Is the day looming when the SIS is privatised in the interests of efficiency and independence?
Neo liberalism at its most devilish extreme.
