I suppose that it is about perceptions. Solid Energy is supposed to be a good Corporate citizen and obey the laws. If people want to protest against them then SE should meet them with well thought out arguments and logic.
If they will buy into paid informers against a group…

I don't 'get' what the big deal about Solid Energy hiring a spy is all about. Seems fair to me – it's not like they hired someone to infiltrate the group and incite unlawful actions so the group would be viewed badly. They manage that on their own. Can't walk…
