  • mark taslov, in reply to Tony Kennedy,

    Another that comes to mind:

"If a woman takes her clothes off and walks around in a group of men, what are we supposed to do if one of them tries to touch her [...] It's not nice and perhaps the stripper shouldn't have been hired, but I'm reluctant to say that the boys were out of line."

The Musical is waiting in the wings…
…or an illustrated moral tale for voters.
at worst a lesser demon of the ninth circle…

the cadence of the name reminds me of the early Fantagraphics comic book Centrifugal Bumble-Puppy (borrowed from Huxley )
    Tom Tomorrow started there…
the strip above is from there – it also seems to nicely capture the innate spirit of the Trump campaign and presidency….

Bumble Puppy is the name of a game whereby a ball is tied by string to a central pole and players (one or many) try to hit it with a bat.

  • Ian Dalziel,

    What about whataboutism
    - Cognitively dissonant yet resonant & redolently blameless, if not a little noisome.
2017 - such a good year to be on the gravels, on your knees!

  • Trevor Nicholls,

I went away for the weekend, returned to find this thread was top of the recents list and thought damn, how did I miss it. Relieved to discover it's last year's thread.
Rob is clearly trying to get an unfair advantage for this year's competition.
