Sacha, in reply to
of course, I think none of those dreadful things about Ms Ryan
Oh you should have seen the expressions on some of the Welli-based audience members on the night, unaccustomed to your deadpan wit..

Having stood (and sat, shudder) next to Muldoon, I can confirm he actually did have a large heard. And was very short - I'm only 167cm, and he was at least 4cm shorter.

3410,
I got my MIDI-USB stick today - any recommendations for software? On Windows.
Cool. Honestly don't know what's the right thing these days.

And next year, we are going to Christchurch.

Dr Haywood - sadly all lost at sea...*
Brilliant presentation sir, but sadly
you have flipped your poles!
Those flippering Killer Clowns are
swimming down the EAST coast,
not the west...
...and Clowns to Chchch!?
Coals to Newcastle,
flippin' 'eck, like
them buskin' sharks
are everywhere here...*but not a Titanic blunder ;- )

Shame about Public Address Radio. I never once listened to it on Radio Live but have had it my podcast feed for years. It always gave me something to listen to on the bus into work and there have been some great interviews and music over the years.
It will be missed.

Christchurch ahoy! What Matthew just said, with bells on ...

I wanted to add the great Tom Waits/Cookie Monster mashup "God's Away On Business" but this dumb new computer won't let me do it (they have taken away my Mac and shifted me to a PC . Wah!!).
Or maybe it is the dumb operator! -

Cheers. I'm not sure if getting a 349 USD piece of software to justify a $10 stick makes sense :-). It does look frikken awesome, though. I'll work my way up to that.
Have started my DJing app btw. All that Java I did with Leo is paying off now. Will probably pester you for some input soon.

Wow, thanks for all the awesome content, I’ll have to come back and watch some more later. I’m so looking forward to a local OGB!! We’ll try our very best not to be quaky this time. <3 to all you clever folk.
ETA: and I think we should have a smorgasbawd, don't you?

Why, thank you Lilith.

No worries. It's a genius mashup.

A truly a posteriori justification ;-)

Speaking of tasty, has Lana Del Rey crossed anyone else’s radar?
Video not on YouTube, so you need to watch here. Smokin’!WOW! +1
Reminds me oddly of Jennifer Connelly in Mulholland Falls.

Has Dr. Haywood considered the possibility of expanding his research along the lines recently explored by Tatu Westling? Brave volunteers may be required to gather the necessary data.

Islander, in reply to
Heh!
He was also an unpleasant yellow colour but that, I guess, was due to the alcohol intake… -
BTW Emma, PA Story is even more hysterical read aloud, thank you!
And David: you're a funny man. One should not attempt to imbibe while listening, I find. Too much choking. :-)

Thanks for noticing. Not sure 'odd' is a word I'd use in that respect. But anyway, moving right along.
I'm not the first to make this comparison, but yeah, I can kind of see it.
Del Rey's other song 'Kinda Outta Luck' has a certain edge to it. -

Heh, this is one of those compare-and-contrast things, right??

TBH, I was thinking more of the similarities.
1) They can sing.
2) Alluring eyes.
3) At some point this will get dangerous, so I'll stop there.
4) See above. -
5) Both songs are about shooting
and
6) except for Lana del Rey, they are both wearing pink tassels. -
Compliments to David Haywood.
Dr Cullen's cranial measurement paradox is a great way to explain Heisenberg's Uncertainty principle. -
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to those tracks. Thanks for uploading them Russell and of course Thom. Great vibes. The loss of funding is a crime. By the sounds of it, that's exactly the type of thing that should be being funded.
