(I was at the 10pm one in Auckland and it was truly one of the greatest live musical things I’ve ever seen.)

Sticking determinedly – well okay, desperately – to my "Yah, he was great when I saw him in 1986 too" talking point.

I happened to find the Lijadu Sisters ‘Double Trouble’ album in an op shop last year (alongside Don Cherry & Buddy guy albums no less!) – a ‘needle in the haystack’ moment for sure, but hopefully not my only one :)

I'm pleased a handful – as such – of Prince's NZ fans got to see him, but why in such a smallish (given his status / popularity) venue ?

He could've packed out Vector Arena, surely ? I can only assume his management were badly advised as to potential audience…
