I love this NAC-on-acid vision of Wellington, taken from Peter Alsop’s Selling The Dream book, and I hope Peter won’t mind that I have copied it from the sample PDF and posted it here.

1985 … from the Centennial Memorial (“in memory of Edward Gibbon Wakefield”) … that’s my bro looking north in the first photo, while in the second photo the Duke of Wellington looks down at the city that bears his name …
