Tried taking this photo with the DSLR, but no joy, it just couldn't find what I wanted it to focus on. The cellphone, being considerably dumber, happily took the photo.

And the opera stage could use some of the TLC the buildings around it are getting.

Like everything about this picture. quiet, simplicity and the repetition of lines – wall, chair and ground. contrast of padded seat to chunk of 'crete.

It never ceases to amaze me how many random, lost single shoes there are lying around. An awful lot more people than I ever see must find themselves having to hop* home and swap newly single shoe for a pair.
