great picks Jackson – mine do not do any credit as I was not up at front this year.
However I loved the shade and seating the Morton Bay figs gave as well seeing fabulous clothes and styles along the day.
Your first comments and the day itself reminded me of when ‘we’ liberated Myers Park then Albert Park in the summer of 69. Evocatively captured by Simon Buis in a booklet I recently uncovered in a clean out.

This intrigued me: a little set of relay speakers for the Princes Street stage, only on the left-hand side. Never seen that before.

Thanks for posting all the crowd and location shots Russell. We were given fairly clear instructions to leave the crowd to the enjoyment of their day and not push our large cameras at them. Having covered many Laneway Fests from the crowd, and with all the iPhone selfies and suchlike out in the world, it seemed a little... something, but I kind of get the point. That didn't stop people walking up to me and asking me to take their photos though.
