In places such as these, (the title), it seems only appropriate to show our honorary cat, Stella’s, honorary kitten friend.
This is Friday. I met him last Friday. He is 11 weeks old and just too cute for any more words.

Nice looking wee guy - and will be game & obedient (my late uncle Bill swore by collie/lab crosses for pighunting*
    - while he loved staffies he thought they were unreliable in tha hunting- game, and were apt to go bush (and wind up being shot.)

*He was one of the first to use leather chest-protectors & deep collars for his pigdogs-

    Specialy on that orange rug

    love the orange eye shot!

This is Hazel on the steps. Love this view of a cat. I think of Gary Tricker, printmaker and cat person. :)

Sofie, does the little one belong to you now? Or is she just a Visitor?

Friday (is his name) belongs to Felix, a friend. Seeing as I'm already called on to babysit, I can imagine I'll get to know him quite well. Felix has a another cat that lives with Flick, (above) and he has a newt. I end up feeding newt and it is claimed that, because of me, newt has exceeded well beyond his expected years. Newt is about 15.

He's not my newt boom boom! :)

He is known as "Sofie can you feed newt?" I am the only one that can hand feed him too! He follows my finger around his property. Nice bit of real estate. He is Ponsonby chic.
