This is our old neighbours cat Lulu, who lurved sitting on the Vespa seat.

& this is the beloved and gorgeous Miss Puss, who isn't so keen on boxes but has to investigate any cupboard open to her.

Spider Cat, moved out shortly after the terrible twins, lambs Mischief and Mayhem moved in. I miss you Spidey.

Robyn, your Karori cat is a doppelganger for Miss Puss. I thought for a second that you had photographed her lounging in the sun somewhere, but Karori is a bit far from Hillsborough - even for a sun chasing cat

Oh Nora, he's magic. those paws! All the stripey ones are making me miss our childhood tabby - strangely there are no photos of him.
I snapped this ginger sweetie a long time ago, Napier, I think. keeping watch o'er the street.

For me, a fine Ginger Cat is next best thing after a stripey tabby - they are so solid. This pic was also taken long ago, so long the print has faded weirdly, but the cat is in Tarragona, Spain. As if it wasn't hot enough already he was utilising the stone radiator.

after a nightshade-black Burmese cross. I still think of my first cat, Sit Fishicious, a magnificent ginger chap. I'm trying to find an old photo of him to scan. Since then my cats have mostly been slinky black; the latest talks and is the smartest cat I've ever played host to.

Everyone keeps talking about how photogenic cats are - my two will almost never perform when cameras are around. But here's where I found our little one, Thomasina, when I came home last night.

Ours is indifferent to freshly-washed clothes, but mad about empty washing baskets. No idea why. (Extremely appreciative, however, when the humans lay paper all over the floor, just for her. So many places to sit! So little time!)
