Well, I'm kinda in the same camp - I don't really care if my phone plays music.
Well I do, one less thing for me to charge or take out of my car so it doesn't get stolen sounds good to me.
but there's something really unnerving/galling/whatever to see a guy 10 years younger than yourself swilling beer in front of a computer with a hoodie worth $60m+ USD..
What is wrong with drinking beer and keeping warm?

Any guesses on what that OS might be?
My guess is a lite version of Leopard.
Macworld is the most obvious place to launch....
In "iPhone" news, Mr Kevin Rose dropped some info about the iPhone on a podcast. Rumors on the iPhone specs have been pretty broad so It's hard to know exactly what it will be packing apart from the obvious iTunes integration.
Kevin Rose: "It is coming in January to all providers with 2 batteries, 2 sizes 4GB & 8GB, slide out keyboard, touchscreen and a "cool" OS??
I want one NOW!
Slightly off topic. ripit.co.nz, new music store launched by Dick Smith. Well, what can I say, another less than average music store with no mac support. The design is not the best and it is a little clunky to use.
I'm quite interested to see how the new Vodafone social networking service goes down. They will need something very special to avoid it flopping.
The new Vodafone music service does NOT support Mac and you need a phone that plays WMA files :-(
What is wrong with you Vodafone? I was ready to make a purchase, I didn't even check the minimum requirements, I just assumed we could work together, but NO, you had to be difficult.
Hey Russell, can you flick me an email. I need to ask a few things. Cheers. L
This is very underground.
How the hell can a Microsoft product be classed as "underground" ???
