  • Hard News: Not so much evil as stupid ...,

Sean Plunkett did OK up to a point, but he didn't ask the question that was screaming out to be asked:

"What - as Minister - have you done to ensure that security assessments are read, analysed, prioritised and communicated within your organisation in a timely manner?"

It's fine to try to nail the guy, but the electorate is entitled to know how Peters' organisation is run

  • Hard News: Here and There,

The Guardian's "comprehensive" coverage isn't a big surprise-

Quote from their Adsales website: Guardian News and Media are in the fortunate position to be one of the only commercial sponsors of the Glastonbury festival....

    So much for that, then.

  • Hard News: In other news, the sky is falling,

    WiFi...

    Pretty dire.

Ranges from $10 an hour with Telecom to $2 an hour at motels.
Or - if you're lucky and can get them - CafeNet charges $20 for 70MB.

Keep an eye out for open hotspots - Orcon has a couple in Nelson and Richmond
