  • Radiation: Back to the 80s,

Man that's harsh! Did Claire Chitham kick the writers' puppy or something?

Well according to someone on Throng

Claire Chitham has been doing a lot of other projects recently - like Neighbours in Australia, and an upcoming play...

but that shouldn't stop us from indulging in wild unsubstantiated gossip. Feel free to add to the following:
1] She's on P and was starting to behave like Britney on set.
2] kept asking "can we get a part for Mikey?"
3] co-star Anthony Starr (Van) indulged her 'method acting' by doing her backstage, but became fed up when she kept insisting he invite Jethro for a 3-way.
4] quit, to show solidarity with Eric (Brian Sergent)
5] Waverly is returning to Shortland Street (also produced by South Pacific Pictures)
    6] she's preggers.

heh heh ... I was going to say 'mumsy' too, but thought the better of it.

BTW - possibly a bit harsh on Pippa above, but glad Charlotte Glennie is no longer fronting Agenda. Good reporter but her fronting skills were a bit lacking. Seemed to let a few obvious questions slide during live interviews on Agenda. Still think Simon Dallow was great - they sometimes squirmed in front of him.

Oh, I thought that was reference to Heroin ...

    RE: Breakfast
My how I laughed when they announced that Kay Gregory was taking over as the female frontperson. She was a 'weathergirl' for gawdsake! But it turned out I was ageist -- I thought she was great, the perfect foil to smarmy (but watchable) Paul Henry.

Now, according to the Herald the two didn't have any chemistry and something had to give. So Kay has quit, giving 2 weeks notice? With TV3's Sunrise show coming I have to wonder: "was she pushed?" If so it's a shame, cos she was good and I don't like her touted replacement Pippa 'Worzel' Gummidge'.

Of course, TVNZ say she wasn't pushed, but what are we to make of Paul Henry's comment: "...as the years roll on doing it, it does take its toll..."

I know it's "No Twice Told Tales Please' but

Posted by me on 11 Jul 07..

If anyone's interested I've seen two episodes of 30 Rock (starting this Sunday on TV3) and I quite enjoyed them.... I know Studio 60 didn't find an audience in the US and has been axed but I'm enjoying it.

I don't think the latter is as bad as the critics have made out, but I do agree that the comedy skits featured within the show aren't that funny. But the same could be said about SNL.

An interesting non-story about TV3's new breakfast show, due around RWC, in the Herald on Sunday. Was Alison Mau auditioning via the newspaper?

And can anyone get Cpt Pugwash with the orig character names, Master Bates & Roger the Cabin Boy?

didn't Mikey Havoc debunk that one as urban myth a few years back??

Maybe this problem can be solved by an ammendment allowing police discretion over whether or not to prosecute.

Didn't Greg O'Connor from the Police Association say that under the proposed legislation the Police would be forced to investigate each and every reported case of time-shifted recording?
