  • dc_red,

I did (innocently) open Mandy's link ... at work. Cue immediate panic to close window and find that "Clear Private Data" button in Firefox. "An honest mistake, Gov" I'll say in a charming cockney accent should this ever be brought up by the powers that be.

Lucky I'm not a cop or it would be front page news?

... And with this tale of terror I bring you 100 quality posts.

  • FletcherB,

This would be why its a good idea to have the feature turned on where you can see the actual link text in a tool-bar or elsewhere....

I didnt click it at work when I saw that it started with altporn.net

    :)

  • Che Tibby,

might pay to send a friendly email to your IT dept and ask them to block the URL, just in case anyone else stumbles onto it.

    I can see that email.

"Er yeah. So I've heard that there's pornography online. Not that I look at it! And certainly not at work! Only look at the internet for work purposes, obviously. But yes. So, just in case anyone at work accidentally clicks on a link to this website, can you block it?"

The person at the other end will be thinking "Christ. Damn porn addicts, asking us to block their favourites list so they're not tempted!"

  • mandy morbid,

Hmm...I hope certain family members I'm still in contact with don't find this, read it, and get too upset. He he he.
