  • Che Tibby,

now if only Stalin or Nixon had blogs....

    That could actually work.

    Stalin Blog

April 24, 1942. Bit bored today. Drank a little, had some gypies executed.

April 26, 1942. Still bored. Hilter kicking ass in the west, again. I really hate that sneaky little bastard. Although, he does have some good ideas.

April 27, 1942. Some prick said Georgians weren't "real russians". Executed his family.

April 30, 1942. Had some Jews executed.
    (Comment: A.Hitler) Good move.
(Comment: Stalin) Piss off adolf, you sneaky asshole.

  • Nobody Important,

    Che farted:
    first.
Don't let PA System become one of those forums.
    Please.

I'm with Robyn on this one. And if you think otherwise then maybe RB should place numbers next to each comment so that Che & Co. can claim the 'Hundy' when it arrives. Or the 'Fiddy'.

What's worse is that Che didn't even bother to read the blog before claiming "first". Maybe RB could just send Che a signed photo and then we'll all be happy.

(and is it just me or has anyone else noticed __HuffPo turning into the Cult of Arianna?)__

two or three. hey, everyone is up early today!

in a nutshell, "first" followed a conversation in a pub with another commenter, and won't be repeated.

  • Nobody Important,

No worries Che! I'm a bit sensitive because:
    a] it's early
b] all the fawning over Arianna on HuffPo is starting to get to me
    and
c] all the fawning by Gary Shandling on Letterman last night made me sick. Or maybe it was Shandling's plastic surgery that made me sick - was the guy attacked by a swarm of Botox bees, or what??

  • hamishm,

Muldoon Blog: 25 April Got pissed with that Young Peters last night. Couldn't find wallet this morning. Looking for vodka in freezer, found wallet. What was I thinking?
Birch comes around at some ungodly hour, has idea of "Wage Freeze". It's an omen and if I sign the damn thing he goes away.
    God I hate them all.

  • Riddley Walker,

    Muldoon Blog: 26 April
Polished off last of the smirnoff Peters left in my pants pocket.
Told Birchy he can have his fangled Wage Freeze as long as he doesn't keep interrupting my morning sessions.
Had a thought in the early hours of something big, but bugger me if I can remember. Something big, really Big...

  • hamishm,

Muldoon blog. Sometime in April: Peters turns up looking for Smirnoff, send him down to wharf and off he scampis. Sometimes it's too easy.
Think of BIG thing. Sort of pipe thing, big pipe. Must be big, very very big, yes, big.
MacIntyre rings, suggest snifter for lunch. I say I'm busy, might be late, could be marginal if I'm there at all. I laugh , he sobs.
Birch rings asks "what if wage frozen but prices rise". Tell him "freeze bloody prices too". Universities are a waste of time
    I hate them.

  • Riddley Walker,

Muldoon blog. Later that day sometime in April

Peters called whining about sailors being tasteless brutes with no respect for expensive suits or hairdos.
Feel I'm on to something with sort of big pipe thing but keeping getting Winnie popping to mind. Pretty sure MacIntyre popped in too.
Had bad dream about a bunch of university types taking over my office and floating all sorts of crap about the place as if it were haunted. Birch was grining in the corner and for some reason my knees wouldn't move.
Woke up in sweat with smirnoff spilt all over lap. That fine young lad Wayne Anderson singing a Sinatra number on the wireless.

  • hamishm,

Muldoon blog 14.0 something. Must clean clockface.
Shouting in corridor. Meurant and Peters struggling with sailors. They say they want Vodka, I say they want a beating and lock door.
Worried about floating dream and pipey thing, not connected surely??? Turns out Birch **was**there grinning, had not gone back to office because I had not said so. Tell him to ring his mum see if she wants him.
    Very thirsty.
New boy Banks visits, asks for tea!! Send him down to Bellamys.
Someone left bottle in desk drawer, I think cleaners but it's nice stuff.
Birch rings asks "How to spell fiscal"
I say "Look it up, it's near fired"
    He gurgles.

  • Ben Austin,

Ok, Garry Shandling is awesome, and the Garry Shandling show was awesome. Plastic surgery can be awesome. So if you combine the three that is a lot of awesome to be had, synergies bleeding out of your ears even.

Speaking of over eager efforts to praise, I have been watching Fox News a bit of late, since I currently am on holiday and staying at a house with Sky Digital. Boy, O Reilly's fox commentators love to flatter him, so much so that I think I'm starting to detect disgust on his face when they begin speaking. Oh, and I saw him interview Richard Dawkins the other day, now that was weird, O Reilly told him to come back when they had the answers.
