  • WH,

Your logic and sophistication are undeniable sachae.

It doesn't have to be this way.

  • Russell Brown,

    Ye Gods. Twin trolls.

Sorry folks, I was having a weekend. I'll get it cleaned up.

  • Russell Brown,

Russell's a very talented man, but he's not god, and he's not above criticism
    (or dishing it out),

How odd. I believe you made a sneering reference to me as "mr god controller" earlier in this very thread, although I'm sure you'll be able assure me it was just a joke .

But thanks for that link back to the time of your arrival here. It has reminded me that it's been nearly two years that I've been putting up with this crap.

  • Russell Brown,

I've suspended the accounts of both sachae grey (aka pfj) and robbery.

I'll email both of them, but "sachae" was acting out, and when I realised that we were approaching two years of the same confrontations between robbery and anyone who took exception to his style of argument, I decided I just didn't want it any more.

I don't think I can be accused of not being patient.

  • Danielle,

Well, sheez. There goes any chance the copyright thread had of making it to 200 pages.

    (Also: thank goodness.)

I think some people were getting tired of your patience to be honest ;)

Yeah, probably. I just didn't want to look like I was shutting someone down.

  • Emma Hart,

Yeah, probably. I just didn't want to look like I was shutting someone down.

If it helps, I'd had a portion of this morning set aside to write a 'dude, srsly, wtf' email, so obviously I'd support this as being 'enough rope'.

PAS is still getting props for remaining sane and civil with the lightest of moderation touches. It's because you're all fabulous, of course.

  • giovanni tiso,

Having been freshly banned elsewhere, I should probably not comment... But what Rich wrote on page 25 struck a chord.

  • Steve Parks,

Where did you get banned from?

Hey, forget where, I want to hear why .

Um, this may be something we shouldn't be discussing here, just for the sake of everyone's comfort. Try here instead.

Okay, sorry, forgot I said that, I shouldn't have. Let's say I was either banned from here, or here.

(And if anybody knows where the second picture is from, I'd LOVE to find out.)

    Interesting, but yeah ...

I did actually try and sort it out offline with robbery, but it didn't work. There's a point where it's just not fair for someone to demand so bloody much of my attention.

Wait until I come down to Dunedin for that ice hockey game against the Aussies.

And when you've tried what John Scalzi calls "the loving mallet of correction" (and this is someone who published a collection of his bloggage called 'Your Hate Mail Will be Graded' -- so he's hardly a sensitive petal), you've just got to say fuck it, and bring out the edged blade.

Hmm. What do we have to put on/take off to get you to Christchurch?

    Hah :-)

Actually, at the moment the prospect of my going anywhere can best be classified as a pipe dream - even the customary trip home has been called off. But you're spoiling my thing, I was working my way towards asking Kyle how much he was prepared to pay for me not to ruin his nice event. Veiled intimidation being one of Italy's finest exports and that.

  • Simon Grigg,

I did actually try and sort it out offline with robbery, but it didn't work.

I'm sure I got thoroughly and endlessly robberyed on after my last post on the Copyright thread but I felt it had to be said and I pledged never to return to said thread after I posted it to spiral into another irrational waste of time.

Completely fucking over it and thank you Russell

  • Simon Grigg,

But I do feel that a new copyright thread at some stage is in order. It's a pretty important topic for all of us and since we know it likely will no longer be hijacked repeatedly......

  • giovanni tiso,

No, I realise that... I'm wondering who might have authored it. I tried all obvious combinations of Masaccio, expulsion, McDonald's I could think of.
