Not a problem. This job often leads to late nights and working from home. :-)

  • Lilith __,

Yay! YouTube discussions on the iPad, and removing dud photos! And Vimeo. Lovely!

Can't wait for the "last read" button. Oh the power! :-)

    Thanks for these.

Agreed. Some members of this forum may be disappointed you're only talking about koha, though. :-)

  • Lilith __,

    Can I ask a question?

Occasionally I want to find something particularly cool that I remember someone's posted, but I can't necessarily remember which thread (or which page of a thread) it's on. I can generally almost see it via google but that always seems to send me to the list of that user's posts starting with the most recent.

Is this an intentional feature? I can imagine there might be good reasons for it, but it can be a bit frustrating. And for Capture posts particularly, where an image comes up in a google image search, but the original context is almost impossible to pinpoint.

  • B Jones,

It doesn't crash the browser on my Android phone anymore, but all I can see of the original post is the jpg. Perhaps getting a better browser on my phone will help.

    Liking this plenty...

Page numbers dither between 3&4 with the same number of posts on the blame thread.

Srsly dude would have no problem with a donate button.

  • Lilith __,

I have mixed feelings about the multiple-photo thing. It can be annoying if there’s a set of pics that want to go together….but haing to post a single pic per post does make things chatty and conversational. It’ll be interesting to see what this does to the dynamic of the Capture threads.

  • Matthew Poole,

One thing that I know others have asked for is to have the capability to select text in the OP and have a "reply" button that behaves the same way as it does for comments.
Other than that, am liking that the system keeps on improving based on our feedback :)

  • Matthew Poole,

Also, I just noticed that there's no sign of any of the Creative Commons rights stuff that got discussed in the Thread of Dooooooom[TM]. Whatever happened to that idea?

It's not the nicest implementation just yet, but after posting, edit the post and you can add another. Then edit again to add a third.

Limited to three at this point in time. :-)

I was thinking about those issues last night. It does not escape me that we're now holding a lot of people's content here -- not just posts and comments, but increasingly their photographs -- and it's probably time to put some structure around that. But I don't think we can just flip the implicit licence people give us by posting into a CC licence.

Of course, if someone was to volunteer to get down some ideas around that ... ;-)

Am I being naive in thinking that the normal rights of authorship remain with the poster?

Oh, they do. But we'd need to carefully state that if we introduced a formal licence.

You know, I wasn't going to ask this time, but we've just had some household financial news that leaves me no choice if I'm to recompense CactusLab for their fine work. Hang onto your spare change ...
