  • 3410,

But the many contests for the ball -- all in slow-motion, all set to Tchaikovsky -- are absorbing to watch. And the rucking! Grown men might weep.

    The Nutcracker?

  • Mark Harris,

Not to threadjack but Paul Brislen has just twittered that Vodaphone has signed an agreement with Twitter that will let you tweet from any phone, not just smartphones.

  • Mark Harris,

    ;-)

I'm finding the whole Twitter thing fascinating, as a new user. I'm not sure it's all good, but it's not all bad either.

  • Gareth Ward,

MUCH prefer tumblr to twitter. Photos, links, audio, video, no text limit, nice design...

Man, you totally hijacked the thread - this was about rugby, in slow motion, to tchaikovsky!

As an interesting addition to that, apparently Peter Wells recut this Score and transformed it into a homo-erotic film. Sadly not to be included on NZ On Screen.

I don't know that rugby needs to be recut to make it homoerotic...

And what will you do once they've hardened up? I should think they'd need a jolly good rubbing down.

I just can't think of Twitter as "microblogging": I see it more as a slow chatroom with permeable walls. Much more about conversation than publication.

I get the terrible feeling we're taking 'thread-jack' a bit literally.

  • Geoff Lealand,

It was a very good Media 7 last night but I did harbour a hope that there might be a lovely botulism bug lurking in the food that P. J. O'Rourke's CIS audience was scoffing.

That would be Arthur Everard, the former Film Censor? A thoughtful and pleasant bloke.
