    - BasementTapes (and others) if you're reading, make sure you label ya tunes - metadata is your friend and often your biggest calling card in the virtual, don't reply on the dl'er (same with the Mclaren remix but I doubt they're reading)

  • Robyn Gallagher,

    That's good news about No More Heroes! I've just donated. It's a brilliant film (with a brilliant soundtrack) and more people deserve to see it. It explores a really interesting and important part of New Zealand culture and the music works perfectly. And once you see it, you'll never look at hilly suburban developments the same way again.

  • Peter Darlington,

    And this is the final week of voting on TheAudience for this month's's wild-card Making Tracks grant winner. I won't beat about the bush -- I'd really like it to be Christoph El Truento. The guy's done so much off his own bat that it'd be nice to see him get the support to make a video.

    Word, dude is becoming something of a national treasure in the SJD vein.

    Here's some choons from me;

    James Blake hooks up with Brian Eno on Digital Lion. Deep bass humming.

    Bonobo hooks up with Eryah Badu for the soulfully gorgeous Heaven for the Sinner

    Well, that No More Heroes facebook page was interesting. Recognised my ex's dad's garage door and the ex skating up the front of it. He was pretty good on the wheels. :)

  • JacksonP,

    I broke my arm at Skatopia on the slalom run, after dropping in on the skate champ of the day, which may even have been Andy. I was 11 or 12 at the time, and from 'out of town'.

    Before this, I had managed to get air in the bowl, and still remember that sense of defying gravity. Good times.

    Wonder if we have any photos? Will have a dig.

  • andrew r,

    That pic of Andy M and Muldoon is fantastic. Wow. Great doco too. Bleakly I was the first leg break in the big bottom bowl at 13 years old. Loser, should have left the place to Andy and the pros.

    The Ladi6 remix downloads for me as "upload_asset20130321-12705-yk28x.mp3", which is really not very sexy. Did you forget to name it when you posted it, maybe?

  • Conrad Heine,

    Great to hear. Since being passed a copy (via my bro) after initial release, I've hosted several London festival screenings, including via the prestigious Walworth Road Annual International, which should achieve double figures in 2013. Here's to bigger and better...

    But they *really* need to sort out their sales thing. Took a bit of looking to find that the album is available at name-your-price on Bandcamp.
