  • Hugh Wilson,

I have a spin cleaner too! Best to do them in batches I find - double sided tape (for sleeve repair), new paper inner sleeves and new plastic outer sleeves all kept at the ready too, along with old rags for cleaning the cover of anything second hand :)

  • Ian Dalziel,

Sad to hear about Mike Fomison - I remember a crazy road trip moving him up to Wellington from Chchch many decades ago... and discovering the costs of taking a rental car across the strait without asking - sigh.

  • Simon Grigg,

That Avantdale video is quite something, and, yep, it's great to see wonderful (at least to me, I wasn't his son in the 90s) Peter Scott in there. Such a fine bassist who seems to have come to terms with his demons.

  • Hugh Wilson,

Noticed Real Groovy listed some heavy and rare NZ LP's on the Ebay - the cover of the Think LP in particular is super cool, and the Blerta cover is an early press with Renee Geyer's name blacked out

Can't find any other work by Neil Vesey - but there is a Mark Vesey who studied graphic design and did Film scene painting back in the 70s who has a similar style - now resident in Australia...
puts me in mind of Phil Judd's work too - or Maryrose Crook for that matter....
