Damn, that's an odd matching Ian, probably put together by Larry Young who was agent for both acts I guess. I can't imagine the Toy Love crowd would've got Russia.

Yes, sadly. He died overnight in Auckland Hospital.
He'd been away in New York and LA and must only just have got back.
Grant McDougall is working on a tribute, which I'll post as soon as he's done.

In a move which is weirding a number of people out, Sweetman seems to have originally written that PG "took his own life" but then changed it to the more innocuous "has died"---but unfortunately not before Facebook had captured the original sentence in it's 'preview'. Now it's being shared around. FFS.
