  • Rich of Observationz,

Regarding the Motorway Patrol thing, the TV company might have been within their rights but if the emergency services were facilitating them, they would seem to have been acting totally unethically in allowing film to be made and broadcast without consent.

From the new Police Code of Conduct
Employees observe and protect the rights of others to privacy and confidentiality.

I'd expect that the Ambulance and Fire services would have a similar rule. Especially ambo - they're health workers FFS!

  • Rob Hosking,

They shouldn't have worried too much. I don't know anyone who watches Motorway Patrol.

I don't know anyone who buys Phil Collins CDs either. But someone sure as hell does.

  • Russell Brown,

I'd agree with the qualification that I don't know anyone who admits to watching Motorway Patrol et. al.

I do! Motorway Patrol is awesome.

Of course you do, Russell. But you're the most decadent and depraved thing this side of the Kentucky Derby. :)

Buying Phil Collins CDs helps keep the velocity of money circulation high, so in a way Kyle your father is a Hero of the Pro Globalisation Counter Recession Strike Force.

Unitard, cool code-name and a secret lair stuffed with gadgets sold seperately -- some assembly required. Please dispose of packaging in a reasonsible manner, and if recession persists, consult a Doctor.

  • Daniel McKenzie,

Playback is better than the 360, and of course it's quieter.

First time I've every heard someone say that an Xbox 360 is quieter than a PS3.

I've read many times about guys not being able to do some late night gaming because it'll wake the wives up due to the jet engine that they apparently have installed (yet it still didn't work properly)
