Happy New Year to you too Chris. Hope it brings you rain.

    For growing courgettes and chlles.

Still no snow. Sun rising on the horse year. Kinda smoky this morning – I’m glad we’re not down in Beijing, I don’t know if anybody can breathe down there after last night’s barrage. But the fireworks must continue. Gotta make sure Nian is properly scared off.

  • Jos,

The courgettes are trying to figure out what happened to the family resemblance.

    Pagan rituals! Most madness!

Wondrous growth, second one especially Mrs Leggs.

Very protective of their little chilli mate!

Look out, playing with selective colour, turning the world pretty weird…..

Nice one Jos. A house CD?

Here's a visibility mirror slightly worse for wear.

Hmmm... Camera left to auto, flash pops up, I capture some snowflakes.

1 minute later, switch it to the landscape button, no flash, no floating snowflakes, but the snow settled. About 7am this morning.

    Why on the spring thread?

1: We're already past 立春/Lì Chūn/the start of spring on the Chinese calendar.

2: It just feels soooooo good to finally see watery stuff falling from the sky after 100-odd days of dry!

That's what it felt like when we got outside. Lots of small flakes falling fast and getting in everything.

The best way to go to kindy.

  • Jos,

Hey, off topic but, if any of you or the people you work for are needing a website remake, my clever son (based in Napier) will be able to help. He's just made a short video explaining the responsive design they do to make websites that can be seen on various gadgets.
