Given the weather down here, thought you might enjoy Rosie's morning run...

That dog is clearly a winner at life. So beautiful.

  • Gareth, in reply to Jackie Clark,

She needs to be a winner as a truffle hound first, then she can have a life... ;-)

Here's one more: how to measure snow depth...

Ha! I love photos of dogs running for one very simple reason - the joyfulness of their movement.

    Speedy beagle…

Surely that is a flying Beagle? And measuring snow depth or practicing truffle hunting? Either way the light is flattering her immensely : )

  • Hebe,

Like those snow dogs. My black dog + white snow = exposure fail every time.

That dog could be related to Stella! Maybe this size would suit your daughter better. I seem to be on the subject of my Father today but this is his Chihuahua Poko. Stella stepped in to show the size difference. The thing is a midget :)

  • Chris Waugh, in reply to Sofie Bribiesca,

The dogs up here roam so freely through the village it's impossible to know who they're related to! Still, there was a period when I still had my Zaizai when it seemed like half the puppies born up here had suspiciously big, floppy ears, just like Zaizai.

Yes, I do think she'd handle something Chihuahua-sized a bit better. Fortunately, though, as badly behaved and poorly trained as they are, these dogs know perfectly well their status in the family and have never given me reason to wonder about my daughter's safety in their presence.

Good to hear. Keep up the good work. Education and interaction is the key .

Where is Hui? Today, along the Waimak he spotted something. Could have been a rabbit or a crumb of a big Mac.

Read the article and must agree they do a lot more than eat and sleep. Worth every minute we spend with them. Special woof woof from Hui.
