    slippery customers...

    they have the wonderful ability
    to tie themselves in knots

    are they reef dwellers?
    or half hitch hoikers?

Mumcat (deceased) was a possessive puss. She spent years on that neck.

What could be a better present than that cat? ;-)

  • Julie Cross,

Yes, you've got it. The Christmas Bengal. The tree was still being put up and he was climbing its plastic branches. I paid for half of his excellence and he was still the best and loveliest gift. I definitely could be a cat lady though - they are all bewitching.

This is a blast from the past. Meet Genghis, Khan that is. He was in Ian's life when I met him, over 21 years ago. He was a great, great character.

That's pretty laid back - too well fed to care about a little sparrow?

It's a little embarrassing for him actually. He came in and on seeing the camera promptly laid out in his best centerfold pose. Being an indoors cat he didn't click that the bird wasn't an inanimate object until it chirped, at which point cat had to be forcibly restrained.

Little bird hung around for a few hours suffering intermittent visits from mum yelling "fly bird fly!" Eventually bird flew.

Either cats are very different in Russia, or the makers of these Russian dolls have a strange idea about cats...

Love this idea... Sadly all the quirky little cat figurines that were gifted to me have been quietly thrifted so I will have to see what I can find.

Now it's the cat that is mesmerized! And I'm sure you'll be able to find some quirky cat themed pieces :)
